Engineering, street maintenance, water and sewer, and sanitation are four of the key areas the department plans and oversees. Regular operations include maintaining the wastewater treatment plant, maintaining sewers and water lines; striping, sweeping and maintaining streets for all weather conditions; maintaining street and traffic signs; and weed removal.
