English as a Second Language Classes offered at South Seattle College
Offers ESL classes to adults at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Conversation, pronunciation, reading, writing, grammar are taught in a combined skills core class with special emphasis on the skills for survival English and employment-related English. Teachers will help students choose specific skills to supplement their core classes. Classes lead students toward college and career readiness. Classes are offered both day and evening on the main campus, at the New Holly Learning Center, and on the Georgetown campus.

Application process
Call or email. Classes are open entry but size is limited. Before entering the program, students must take an English language placement test.
Fee
$25 fee for students having permanent residency status I-20 students or others on temporary visas must pay special fees.
Eligibility
No restrictions. Primarily serves recent immigrants and individuals needing practice with spoken English.
