Healthcare Assistance Program offered at Bleeding Disorder Foundation of Washington

Eligibility
Those with the bleeding disorders - primarily Hemophilia but also von Willebrand, Bernard-Soulier, Gray Platelet, Delta Storage Pool and Glanzmann Thrombasthenia - which cause the inability to clot. AND in need of financial help.
Application process
Call the office for a financial assistance form or download it from the website. Physicians note required to document illness.

Offers financial assistance to anyone with a bleeding disorder who is in need of help to cover expenses associated with receiving medical care. Examples of costs we may help cover include:  
  • Hotel room for annual exam, HTC appointment, or HTC doctor recommended appointment
  • Gas and parking reimbursement associated with medical appointments
  • Outstanding medical bill payment
