Eligibility

Must have a child who experienced symptoms of mental health concerns, emotional, or behavioral issues. The child must now be 22 years or younger.

Description

Provides an educational program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental health conditions. The course is taught by trained instructors who are parents or caregivers of individuals who developed symptoms before age 13.

Provides support, education, and advocacy for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. Offers free support groups, classes, and educational opportunities, with some programs available in Spanish. Supports recovery and reintegration, promotes access to resources, and serves individuals and families of all backgrounds and cultures. Programs are delivered as an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization.
