Description
The Jefferson County Veteran's Assistance Program is run by volunteers to help Veterans in need of help. Funding comes from the citizens of Jefferson County through their property taxes. This program provides emergency assistance to Veterans, in recognition of the service they provided to our Country. The program provides up to $1,500 per year and can be used for food and necessities, fuel for doctor appointments, propane, dental assistance, etc. Contact the office for more information.
