Application process
Book trips using the smartphone RUNNER app. Those without a smartphone can call.
Fees
Same fares as regular Pierce Transit bus:
  • $2 for an adult
  • $1 for the Regional Reduced Fare Permit
Youth 18 and younger ride free (must show ORCA Card). Cash is not accepted - show the driver the ORCA card, Valid Day Pass, or use the App.

Trips can have starting point and destination in the specified Spanaway RUNNER zone, an end point that is a Transit Hub up to 2 miles away, or a ride between stops. RUNNER uses smaller, wheelchair-accessible vehicles to provide trips when and where needed, and to make it easier to reach local and regional transit options.
