Provides employment services to people with disabilities.   Employment services include  -  Work assessment -  Job development and placement -  Training -  On-going supports -  Customized employment -  On-site packaging and assembly work   Employment opportunities available at SKCAC and elsewhere in the community.

M-F, 7:30am-4pm.

Call, email or visit website to set up a meeting with employment services staff member to complete application.

Eligibility

Referral needed from DSHS's DDD or DVR to provide a source of funding. Minimum age of 18 for DVR funded services or 21 for DDD funded services.   Able to communicate with others by speech, writing or other means. Desire to improve work skills, work behaviors and be an active participant in the services provided. Work behaviors appropriate for a work setting/environment. No known safety concerns to self or others.

Fee

Participants are sponsored by DSHS - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation or DSHS - Developmental Disabilities Administration. Services are free to qualified individuals (fees are paid by DDA or DVR).
