Other Information

Disabilities & Health Conditions

  • Eating Disorders
Uses the Twelve Steps of recovery that offers physical, emotional and spiritual healing from compulsive overeating. Uses the same successful Twelve Step program endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous, as it works as well for alcoholics as it does for those who suffer from compulsive eating. Compulsive eating can manifest in being overweight, at a normal weight or in being underweight because of bulimia or anorexia. OA often results in sane eating where diet programs have failed. Primary purpose is to abstain from overeating and to carry this message of recovery to those who still suffer.
