Call King County Metro routes 70, 71, 72, 73, 83 and 309.

Individuals who are chronically incapacitated due to alcohol or other drugs.  People can be on the street, in a bar or within reasonable access in a building.  Staff will not enter private residences.  The ESP patrol area in Seattle is Denny Way on the north, Spokane Street on the south, Broadway to Roy Street on the east, and Elliot Bay on the west.  Drivers can go outside of the area in special situations.

Description

Provides screening for inebriation and medical problems and transportation to appropriate services for people who are chronically publicly inebriated.  Responds to calls from the 911 emergency dispatch system.  The van can transport a maximum of six individuals.  Transports to Pioneer Human Services' King County Diversion Center, another appropriate facility or an emergency room.  Individuals with extreme medical problems will be transported to Harborview Medical Center Emergency Room.

Provides screening for inebriation and medical problems and transportation to appropriate services for people who are chronically publicly inebriated.
