Provides diversion from normal criminal process for adult felony offenders who meet certain criteria. Offers a probation-like educational and/or treatment program in lieu of prosecution for the alleged offense. If the prescribed social services program is successfully completed, the charges are dismissed. If the program isn't successfully completed, the court proceeds with prosecution.
