The Coalition provides leadership development, training and mentoring, advocacy education and support for individual self-advocates and self-advocacy groups. The purpose of this program is to educate individuals about their rights as participating members of their community and how their participation in their local community builds integration and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. In addition, the Coalition educates policy makers, local organizations and members of the community at large.

Arc of Snohomish County
The Arc of Snohomish County a resource of first choice for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and their community in which they live regardless of the disability and at all stages of life. We provide advocacy and support services to individuals and families within Snohomish County.  The organizational structure consists of: 1) Connecting Families & Community Support; 2) Independent Living & Housing; and 3) Leadership & Advocacy. The programs at the Arc of Snohomish County are designed to foster inclusion and provide for self-reliance and self-advocacy for families of and individuals affected by developmental disabilities.
