Description

Sells gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, antiques, clothing, collectibles, and building materials. One hundred percent of the funds raised from the Habitat Stores support Habitat's mission to build and repair homes and hope. New items arrive daily. The Habitat Store also helps volunteers gain basic employment experience. Volunteer opportunities include: sales, pricing/sorting, display/decorating/cleaning, maintenance, management, and donation pick up/unloading.

Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. Houses are built with a contribution of hundreds of hours of labor on the part of the homeowners and volunteers. By investing themselves in the building process, homeowners gain self-reliance, self-esteem and new skills. Their down payments and monthly mortgage payments are used to build more houses through a revolving Fund for Humanity.
