Call Access Pierce to be screened.
Please allow a 21 day turnaround for review and approval.
Beyond the Borders will contact you once you have been approved for trips.
After approval, call Beyond the Borders directly to schedule rides and they will have all of the information on file.
Trip reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Demand response rides are for trips that cannot be completed on one of the two Connector deviated fixed routes in Sumner/Bonney Lake or Spanaway/South Hill.
Trip purpose: work, dialysis or lifeline/essential trips the destination or the nearest Pierce Transit or Sound Transit bus stop.
*The only dialysis center inside the Beyond the Borders service area is the Graham Dialysis Center.
Request to other dialysis centers, such as DaVita South Hill Dialysis Center, Fresenius South Hill Dialysis Center, and DaVita Parkland Dialysis Center may qualify for boundary overlap for SHUTTLE qualified riders on a case by case basis.
Trips for dialysis are NOT immediate. There is currently a wait list for dialysis rides.*
Lifeline/Essential trips are limited to 6 round trips per month.
Services could include but are not limited to:
- food banks,
- clothing banks,
- family support centers,
- social service appointments (WIC, DSHS, PCCC),
- court or legal appointments,
- school counselor appointments, and
- shelters.
