Eligibility

Survivor headed families with dependent children (under 17 or enrolled in school) experiencing homelessness as the result of an active DV situation. Will assist clients who are experiencing domestic violence from an intimate partner. Serves survivors of all genders who have dependent children of all genders. Service animals/ESA accepted. While services are offered in King County, we accept referrals from other locations across Washington state contingent on eligibility and alignment.

Description

Provides shelter for ONLY domestic violence survivors and their dependent children (up to age 17 or enrolled in school) in furnished apartments which have kitchens and bathrooms. Serves up to 10 families. Clients generally stay up to six weeks. Offers support services for ESL clients. Offers residents advocacy-based counseling, domestic violence support groups and parenting support groups. Also offers advocacy and activities for children of families in the program. Clients receive: - Personal hygiene supplies - Emergency food - Linens and blankets - Household and kitchen items.
