Eligibility

Parents with children ages birth-21 who have an intellectual or developmental disability or other special health care needs.

Hours

8:30am to 4:30pm from Monday through Friday

Provides a program for parents by parents of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities or with special health care needs.   Matches a trained mentor parent with a parent seeking support. Effort is made to match parents with similar children and life experiences. Program activities include:
  • Informal support groups at various times and locations throughout King County
  • Online support groups
  • Occasional recreational activities for the entire family
