Senior Programs offered at City of Tacoma - Senior Services - Lighthouse Senior Center
Senior activity center for people age 60 years and better. Recreational programs include bingo, arts and crafts, card games and more. A variety of health, fitness, and personal enrichment activities are offered, to encourage an active lifestyle, independence, healthy nutrition, and financial planning. Offers a meal site serving lunch daily at noon. Meal is provided by Catholic Community Services and their volunteers. Call for reservations. Free transportation is available to eligible city residents (60 and older) to help them attend.

Fee
Most services are available for at no cost to Tacoma residents. Meals: $3.50 donations are encouraged for lunch for those 60 and over. Those under 60 pay $6.
Eligibility
Must be 60 years of age or older for programs. Adults 60 years of age and older are eligible for lower cost meals and transportation services.

The City of Tacoma owns two (2) senior activity centers for people age 60 years and better. The activity centers provide a comprehensive array of recreation, health service, education and volunteer opportunities.
