Accepts donations of food for use in the men's shelter. Commonly needed items include the following: - Large canned goods such as tuna, chili, stew, pork and beans - Wrapped 500 count boxes of soda crackers - Condiments - Eggs and cereal - Milk, tea and coffee Also accepts clothing and toiletries for residents, such as the following: - Shaving cream and disposable razors - Toothbrushes and toothpaste - Shampoo and lotion

Catholic Community Services' St. Martin de Porres Shelter
St. Martin de Porres Shelter provides safe and dignified shelter for homeless men ages 50 and older. The shelter opened in October 1984, in response to the growing need for an emergency shelter for this special population of older men who are vulnerable to the weather, street predators, and illness. The shelter currently operates at full capacity of 52 men daily, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
