Adult Day Program offered by Old Friends Club in Carnation

Provides a welcoming small-group environment where people with Alzheimer's, stroke survivors and those with other cognitive impairments participate in guided conversation, art, music, exercise, games and other activities. The interaction moves people from isolation to engagement and helps them remain living in their own home longer.    Caregivers: Provides an affordable respite care option as well as one-on-one support, resources and referrals to family caregivers.

Two days per week: $650 per month Three days per week: $825 per month Sliding fee scale is available.

Eligibility

Must not need more than limited assistance with ambulation, transferring, toileting and eating. Specializes in working with adults with Alzheimer's, dementia or Parkinson's.
