Homeless adults with mental illness who need the subsidized rent and/or support from the cooperative household of peers.  Shelter referrals are accepted but are not mandatory; clients may self-refer.
M-F, 9am-5pm.

Contact the Housing Manager at Transitional Resources.  Caller will usually get a live person on the phone when calling during office hours; otherwise, caller may leave a message.  Transitional Resources does maintain a waiting list if there are no current openings and may be able to provide information on future availability.

Low cost/sliding scale.  Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid) as well as Shelter Plus Care (SPC) vouchers.  Most units set rent at 30 percent of monthly income.

Description

Administers a long-term, below-market-cost housing program and supportive living communities for approximately 90 adults with mental illness in houses and single apartments, primarily located in West Seattle. Units consist of studios and one-bedrooms as well as ten houses for groups of three to four tenants. Support services vary depending on client needs. Support offered includes assistance with medication, shopping, money management and transportation. Small-group houses usually hold weekly meetings. There is no minimum or maximum length of stay.
