Offers medication assisted treatment and support services for those with an opioid use disorder. Provides courtesy doses to patients enrolled in other treatment programs. Patients begin treatment with methadone or buprenorphine and come to the clinic daily to receive medication from a dispensing nurse. This treatment helps patients who respond well to methadone and provides a structured, intensive, daily treatment. Over time, some patients may graduate to less structured services, with medications dispensed in weekly to (at most) monthly take-home quantities. Support services include - Assessment and treatment planning - HIV and Hepatitis C testing, education and counseling - Individual and group counseling - Acupuncture - Physical examinations Flex Care Allows patients to receive treatment from medical prescribers who work closely with a nurse care manager. This treatment starts with weekly visits with the medical team, a limited prescription of the buprenorphine and ETS counseling and other support services.
