Drop-In Services offered at YouthCare's Orion Center
Provides comprehensive services for homeless youth and young adults, including: - Hot meals - Restrooms and shower (with disability accommodations) - Laundry - Lockers - Clothing - Hygiene items - Afternoon drop-in services with activities such as tutoring, yoga, art, cooking, and classes - Onsite clinic run by Kaiser Permanente - Onsite specialized case management through the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center - Onsite legal aid offered through the Legal Counsel for Children & Youth Serves as a youth heating/cooling center. Staff regularly transport youth to medical clinics and to obtain State ID. Staff also organizes weekly recreational activities. Bus tickets handed out in exchange for chores.
