Eligibility

To be eligible for special education services, a child must meet the following criteria: 1. The child must be between 3 and 6 years old and have a disabling condition. 2. The child must reside in the Tumwater School District. 3. The child must meet state criteria for special education. Eligibility assessments will be conducted in the following areas:
  • Cognition
  • Expressive and receptive language
  • Fine and gross motor skills
  • Self-help skills
  • Social and emotional skills

Hours

M-F, 8am-4:30pm.
