Student Support Services offered by United Way Benefit Hub at Highline College
Helps students stay enrolled in school through benefits access, financial coaching, income supports, and referrals to other support services. Limited emergency financial grants available for homelessness prevention and emergencies. Students meet one-on-one with a coach to discuss college and career goals. Appointments typically last one hour, but there is no limit to the number of appointments. Typical areas of assistance: - Managing debt - Increasing savings - Signing up for ORCA LIFT, SNAP/EBT, health insurance, WIC, etc. - Building credit & pulling credit reports - Budgeting - Scholarships - Tax preparation - Access to on-campus food pantry - Referrals to additional resources

Student must be currently enrolled in at least one class at the college. For financial assistance, students must be enrolled in classes worth at least six credits or be pursuing a degree or credential.
