Responsible for the operation of the system which holds youthful offenders accountable for criminal offenses and for providing for the needs of youthful offenders through the employment of two probation counselors.
Probation counselors are responsible for the supervision of youthful offenders and the coordination of a diversion program which handles minor offenders and the At Risk Youth and CHINS programs.

Whitman County Juvenile Services
Whitman County Juvenile Court is a division of the Superior Court responsible for the operation of a system which holds youthful offenders accountable for criminal offenses, and for providing for the needs of youthful offenders, probation counselors.
Probation counselors are responsible for the supervision of youthful offenders and the coordination of a diversion program which handles minor offenders and the At Risk Youth and CHINS programs.
In addition, the Juvenile department is responsible for providing advocacy for minor children involved in dependency actions by providing volunteer guardians ad litem and employing a guardian ad litem supervisor.
