Description

Provides 24/7 emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and their children, including pet-friendly accommodations. The shelter offers a safe, confidential environment with on-site advocacy, safety planning, and emotional support. Residents receive assistance connecting to community resources, legal advocacy, counseling, and long-term housing options. Services are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and available in English and Spanish. Services are confidential.

Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center

Provides 24-hour crisis advocacy, support, information, and referrals for survivors of domestic violence and their families. Offers safety planning and 24/7 emergency shelter support for victims, their children, and their pets. Delivers one-on-one victim advocacy and counseling for all domestic violence survivors, including bilingual advocacy to support Spanish-speaking individuals. Legal advocacy is available to assist survivors with legal questions, paperwork, and accompaniment to legal proceedings. Facilitates survivor support groups, community referrals, and networking. Youth advocacy services are provided for children and youth ages 0-18, along with parenting classes. All services are free and confidential.
