The goal of vocational education is for individuals to develop job specific skills leading to a middle class standard of living.

SkillSource is a non-profit organization overseen by the North Central Washington's Workforce Development Council. SkillSource provides training and education to develop the local workforce. Partners with state agencies, community colleges, local businesses, and other community-based organizations to provide skills training and personnel services to improve economic prospects for employers and employees.
