Eligibility

Families with children, individuals and couples without children who are living in their vehicle. Unable to accept RV's, Motorhomes, or trailers at this time.

Application process

- Contact the coordinator. 253-346-6482 - Coordinator will meet with the vehicle occupants at one of the site locations (coordinator will provide the address) - Vehicle occupants will need to fill out a form that will have name, contact information, names of everyone staying in the vehicle at night, and vehicle information like license plate numbers.

Offers safe, nightly parking for those experiencing homelessness. Provides a safe place to sleep, stabilize, and connect to services. Host sites provide parking spaces, portable toilets, hand washing stations, garbage services, and connection to outreach services. Sites are throughout Pierce County, and will vary in who is served at the site. For example, families with children may be at one location, while couples and individuals will be at a different location. At this time, RV's are unable to be served (motor homes and trailers) Guests can stay up to 30 days. 30 day extensions are available on a case-by-case basis. When staying in one of the parking locations, it is expected that guests will: - follow all CDC/COVID-19 guidelines - follow all laws when in or around the site - not engage in any predatory behavior at or around the site (ex: drug dealing) - not possess, use or consume drugs or alcohol on the site - will only store the family's personal belongings within the vehicle - keep the vehicle in the assigned space - will not bring any illegal weapons onto the site, or brandish or threaten anyone - will stay out of others residents' area or belongings - will dispose of trash in the provided containers - keep their site clean - no visitors when staying at the site.
