Eligibility
Adults 18 and older who are Washington State residents living in South King County, which includes the cities of Auburn, Burien, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, SeaTac and Tukwila, and the unincorporated regions of White Center and Skyway.
Household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level for the last three months.
Must be eligible to work in the United States, including citizens or nationals of the U. S. , immigrants lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or non-immigrants currently authorized by the Department of Homeland Security U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to work in the United States.
Must be receiving or eligible for Basic Food or BFET, unless the individual meets one of the following exceptions:
- Recently sponsored immigrant
- 22 years old or younger living with parent or guardian who does not qualify for Basic Food due to family income
- Currently in Work Release
- Currently on TANF

Provides a free 10 week training course for entry-level jobs in manufacturing.
Students receive college credit and certificates in First Aid/CPR, OSHA and Forklift.
Graduates who are placed with employer partners are eligible to apply for advanced training in an apprenticeship program.
Participants will have access to support services, coaches and mentors who will assist with resumes, cover letters, interviewing and applications.
Those with some experience and manufacturing background may enroll for direct to job search support and wraparound services without the training element.
