Offers one-for-one needle exchange, which helps prevent the transmission of blood-borne diseases, such as HIV and Hepatitis C, and reduces the number of contaminated needles in the community and the public waste system. Hands out safe disposal containers and naloxone kits, and provides education, intervention, and referrals to behavioral health services, including treatment for substance use disorders. Mobile van travels to locations in Mount Vernon, Sedro Woolley, Burlington, Concrete, Anacortes, and Marblemount.
