Trains people to come to the rescue of their family, friends, co-workers and fellow citizens. Instructs and empowers everyday people to save lives. Courses include First Aid/CPR/AED training, lifeguard training, HIV/AIDS education and disaster preparedness. Courses are taught by certified instructors and combine hands-on training, audiovisuals, easy-to-read materials and instructor-led demonstrations and discussions. Classes also available in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL).
