Animal Shelter at Benton Franklin Humane Society
Accepts owner-surrendered animals to find permanent homes. Provides homeless animal care and adopts companion animals to adults 18 and older. Also accepts donations of dog/cat food, linens, bedding, dog/cat items, dog/cat treats, and other items to then distribute to pets in need while supplies last. Volunteer opportunities available.

- $60 for the owner-surrender fee. - Adoption fees vary depending on breed and age. A non-refundable $20 hold may be place in person or over the phone.
Required documents
For pet food/items, participants need to provide photo ID to receive food once a month for three months; then a three month hiatus will occur. Call for more information.
