Adult Dental Program offered by Public Health in Seattle & King County's Access & Outreach

Provides dental services for one year for adults who are not eligible for Washington Apple Health/Medicaid due to citizenship status. Dental care can be provided at certain community events by the Mobile Dental team, at a Public Health Dental Clinic or Community Health Center Dental Clinic. Services include - Cleaning - Extractions (pulling teeth) - X-rays - Fillings - Routine exams - Fluoride application - Follow-up referral to a dental home Limited services include periodontal (gum disease), root canal (front teeth only), dentures/partials and oral surgery.

Eligibility

King County residents including those experiencing homelessness who are not eligible for Apple Health (Medicaid) due to citizenship requirements. This includes residents who are undocumented, Deferred Action Childhood Arrival (DACA), and residents who have a green card but don't meet the 5 year residency requirement. Individuals with visitor visas or students are not eligible. Income must be less then 317% of the Federal Poverty Level. Eligibility will be determined annually.

Public Health - Seattle & King County's Access & Outreach

Refers low-income King County residents to health care providers, including providers of obstetrics, pediatrics, dental care (including the ABCD program) and women's health care. Refers eligible men and women to locations of the Washington Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program. Helps low-income King County residents apply for ORCA-LIFT, the reduced-fare program for King County Metro. Also helps residents apply for health insurance, including WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and qualified health plans through the exchange.
