Eligibility

Families with at least one minor child in their care, who have been served through a Mary’s Place family shelter, mobile outreach, prevention program, or through the King County Emergency Family Shelter Intake Line. May be able to help with rent if you can answer “yes” to the screening criteria below. Still at home but afraid of losing housing, AND at least one of the statements below is true: In the past, have called for family shelter or was served in shelter in King County. Have received helped by Mary’s Place diversion and outreach program. Received helped through Mary’s Place eviction prevention and rental assistance program. Don’t remember when or what program it was called but think received services from Mary's Place. If “yes” to one of the above, apply for help below, and be entered into application lottery.

Application available 24 hours daily.

Application process

Visit website and fill out the eligibility screening form. Your information will be entered into a lottery for possible assistance. If you are selected, you’ll be contacted by the prevention team to complete a short eligibility screen to see if you qualify for assistance. If you are not selected that week, you’ll receive an email and will be re-entered into the lottery for possible assistance the following week. The online form is available in multiple languages.
