Helps Washington residents transfer ownership of a vehicle, transfer a title, get tabs on a new vehicle, and change the owner's name or address on a vehicle or boat. Also assists with renewing license plates, transferring plates to another vehicle, and ordering personalized plates.
Washington state residents have 30 days to register their vehicle after they move to the state. Residents who buy or get a vehicle as a gift have 15 days to transfer the ownership.
Explains what residents need to do to renew or replace vehicle tabs. Vehicle tab renewal/replacement can be done online or at a licensing office and can be renewed up to six months before they expire.
