Provides holistic pregnancy (prenatal) care, delivery and postpartum care (after baby is born) through certified nurse-midwives who have gone through advanced training to care for patients across their life span.
Midwives attempt to reduce Cesarean-section rates, traumatic deliveries and unneeded medical intervention.
Connects patients with community resources, and helps them understand their health care options.
Deliveries are at Swedish First Hill Birth Center.
