Mileage Reimbursement offered by TRIP Link

Must live in designated areas in Chelan or Douglas County, which is anywhere that falls outside of the Link Transit service area. No insurance requirements, does not have to be Medicaid eligible. Does not reimburse for mileage travelled outside of Chelan and Douglas counties.

Call or visit website to apply. Riders choose their own drivers and arrange their rides directly with their volunteer drivers. Each time a rider obtains a ride, the mileage is documented on the mileage sheet. Riders need to mail in their mileage sheet by the 10th of the next month to receive their reimbursement check. The rider is responsible for reimbursing their drivers.

Description

Provides mileage reimbursement for people living outside of Link Transit’s service area in Chelan and Douglas counties, who receive rides from others to places within Chelan/Douglas. Mileage reimbursement is sent to the rider who will then give it to the people driving them places. TRIP-Link is administered through Tran Care in partnership with Link Transit.
