From I-5, - Take the Hwy. 16 (Bremerton) exit. - Take first available exit (Sprague Avenue). - Continue on Sprague Avenue to 19th Street. - Turn left onto 19th Street and continue to State Street. - Turn left onto State Street -- the DSHS building will be on the left. - Turn left into parking lot, DVR is on the first floor.
Have a physical, mental, or sensory disability that results in a substantial barrier to employment. Require vocational rehabilitation services to get or keep a job. Capable of working as a result of receiving DVR services. Prioritizes serving clients with the most significant disabilities.

Once enrolled, clients are assessed to identify strengths, capabilities, work skills, and interests and what DVR services would be needed. Services may include - Vocational counseling - Benefit planning so clients understand how earnings from employment could impact the benefits they receive from other programs, - Independent living services to help clients manage disability issues that get in the way of work. - Assistive technology evaluations and assessments. - Job training and education - Job search assistance - Support in keeping a job
