Adult inpatient psychiatry services are provided at Providence for adults between the ages 12 and up who are experiencing an acute phase of depression, bipolar illness, schizophrenia and/or significant problems of living associated with personality disorders. The primary focus of this short-stay, acute care is to assist patients in stabilization and symptom management, in order to return to the community for continued care.
