Jefferson Transit’s Vanpool service offers an economic alternative on long commutes. A vanpool can have as few as 6 or as many as 15 people in it. The more vanpoolers, the less expensive the ride.

Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA) is a PTBA (Public Transit Benefit Area) and serves over 33,000 residents in Jefferson County, including the City of Port Townsend and the West Olympic Connection Area (Forks to Amanda Park). Our services include Fixed Route, Dial-A-Ride, Vanpool and two Park and Ride facilities. JTA's connections with other Transit Agencies and Ferry systems make it easy for residents to get around.
