Provides advice and legal representation to help tenants avoid eviction due to unpaid rent or other lease-related issues. Works directly with landlords to prevent evictions and protect tenants’ rights. Represents qualified tenants in eviction cases in superior court. Assists tenants who have been illegally evicted and helps individuals apply for eviction prevention resources, including rental assistance, relocation support, and other related services. Hosts monthly legal clinics in Skagit, Whatcom, and San Juan counties.
