Computer Workshops offered at Helping Link
Offers a weekly class to teach adult and elder clients the basic applicable computer skills necessary to advance towards job employment and increased language literacy. Participants will learn all the basic information needed about computer technology in order to communicate, regulate, and present information including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, internet, email and social media such as Facebook and Skype. Includes a bilingual Vietnamese and English computer manual, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the basic computer functions and tips to becoming familiar with the computer programs. Also offers a tablet (iPad) class, which teaches basic iPad functions. Computer lab drop-in hours are available for those to practice and make use of the tasks learned in class.
