Eligibility
People of all genders experiencing homelessness, ages 18 and older.
Must be sober and willing to participate in a self-managed shelter program.
Cannot serve those convicted of a sex offense; those with other criminal offenses may apply. Service animals with documentation allowed; animals or pets without documentation may be allowed, depending on the individual shelter.

Application process
Apply in person.
Intake screenings take place at the SHARE office in the Josephinum Building.
Entrance is in the alley between 2nd and 3rd Aves.
During intake times, a monitor helps direct people to the entryway of the building. Applicants should be able to complete an intake as long as they are no more than 25 minutes late to the screening.
Screenings for some women's shelter programs take place at other locations and times; check website calendar for all intake screening times and locations.

Operates a self-managed overnight shelter program at up to 10-15 sites throughout Seattle, providing shelter for over 200 clients per night in the indoor shelter.
Some facilities serve only men or women; others serve both men and women, with separate sleeping areas.
Trans* clients are served as they self-identify.
