Eligibility

You can request services if you are:  
  • Over the age of 60 and low income
  • Between the ages of 18 and 60, low-income and disabled

Hours

M-F, 9am-5pm.

Application process

New clients will be mailed an intake welcome packet and consent form to be filled out and returned. This will take a few days, therefore does not provide emergency transportation or services.

Disabilities & Health Conditions

  • General Disabilities
Provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. Only local rides; no work-related transportation. Volunteers can provide services such as:
  • Local transportation for appointments and errands (no long distance)
  • Yard work
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Snow shoveling
  • Minor home repairs (door handle replacement, light bulb replacement, broken board on a ramp, or replacing an old step for example)
  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Wood provision
  • Communication
