Provides support to families of children with special needs by connecting them to medical and social services, health insurance programs (including private insurance and Medicaid), parent support organizations, resources for concerns (feeding, nutrition, growth, development, and behavior), and developmental screenings/assessments.

Records and reviews data pertaining to births and deaths, issues burial transit permits for disposition of a deceased.  Issues Washington State certified copies of death certificates.  Provides public health information.
