HIV/AIDS Counseling Program offered at Yakima Health District

Provides HIV testing and counseling, partner counseling and referral services, prevention of further transmission with persons living with HIV, among other services. Provides the following: -  HIV testing and counseling -  Partner counseling and referral services -  Prevention of further transmission with persons living with HIV -  Education sessions for patients of drug treatment centers (winter months) -  Group education focusing on the farm working community and alternative schools (spring, summer, and fall) -  Needle exchange: contact program staff for times and locations -  Classes with POCANN that teach injection drug users risk reduction strategy -  Bilingual capabilities
