For veterans with 180 days of active duty and an honorable discharge, who have lived in Washington state for 12 months. Income at or below 150% federal poverty level.

Focus Population

Provides emergency funding and assistance with claims to the VA for veterans and their dependents. Works in partnership with Skagit County Public Health. Types of financial assistance include
  • Food, gas, & clothing
  • Utilities with disconnect notice
  • Mortgage, rental, security deposit
  • Transportation assistance
Also assists with getting discharge documents/DD-214 requests, case management, budgeting, and referrals to additional services.
