Return to Work Support offered by DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Everett

Assists individuals with disabilities in getting and keeping a job. Works in partnership with the community and businesses to develop employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Once enrolled, clients are assessed to identify strengths, capabilities, work skills, and interests and what DVR services would be needed. Services may include - Vocational counseling - Benefit planning so clients understand how earnings from employment could impact the benefits they receive from other programs, - Independent living services to help clients manage disability issues that get in the way of work. - Assistive technology evaluations and assessments. - Job training and education - Job search assistance - Support in keeping a job

Driving Directions Northbound on I-5: Take Broadway/Naval Station Everett exit (exit 192 off of I-5). Continue on Broadway to Tower Street (approximately 3 miles). Building is on the left side of the street at the corner of Tower and Broadway. DVR is on second floor.  Southbound on I-5: Follow Highway 529, exit # 198, across bridges into north part of Everett. Continue on Broadway to Tower Street (second traffic light). Building is on the right side of the street at the corner of Tower and Broadway. DVR is on second floor.  Bus Directions Accessible via Community Transit bus route 201/202 (Marysville) and Everett Transit routes 5, 7 and 29. Eligibility

Have a physical, mental, or sensory disability that results in a substantial barrier to employment. Require vocational rehabilitation services to get or keep a job. Capable of working as a result of receiving DVR services. Prioritizes serving clients with the most significant disabilities.
