Administers Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. These vouchers can subsidize program participants’ monthly rent at privately-owned apartments and houses located within the Housing Authority’s service area. Low-income, disabled, Veteran and farmworker individuals and families can also submit applications for HASC-owned affordable and/or subsidized housing units. HASC owns and manages Burlington Terrace, Raspberry Ridge I & II and Seasonal Farmworker Housing in Burlington, as well as La Paloma, Mount Baker Meadows, Mount Vernon Family Housing and President Apartments in Mount Vernon.
