Volunteer Opportunities offered at Rebuilding Together South Sound
Volunteers can join Rebuilding Together South Sound for our monthly [Re]Build projects one Saturday a month from April-November. For more information, please email [email protected]. Volunteers of any skill level are welcome. We are always looking for volunteers who work in the construction industry to support our repair programs – specifically general contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, and HVAC technicians. Please note - we do not have capacity to support time bound volunteer needs such as graduation requirements or court ordered volunteering.

Rebuilding Together South Sound
Provides free critical home repairs and modifications for low-income homeowners who are seniors, live with a disability, or have children in the home. Clients live anywhere in Pierce County as well as the cities of Federal Way and Auburn. Vision is safe homes and communities for everyone and we do this by repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. Repairs are provided through three programs, National Rebuilding Day, Safe at Home, and Rebuilding a Healthy Neighborhood. Repairs are focused on home safety, accessibility, and maintenance. To be eligible for our programs a person must: • Own the home they live in • Be within the service area (anywhere in Pierce County and cities of Federal Way and Auburn) • Be up to date on property taxes and any mortgage payments • Be low-income (50% gross AMI based on household size) • Have someone in the home who is a senior, living with a disability, or a child under the age of 18.
