Represents the interests of children and the State of Washington in cases involving paternity, enforcement of child support obligations, and modifications of child support and health insurance coverage. Requires the Prosecuting Attorney, by statute, to initiate proceedings under the Uniform Parentage Act to determine paternity, establish child support, provide health insurance coverage, and create a residential schedule for all children born outside of marriage or those not born to married parents.
